never bet on a stock v6 mustang , if the celica is a gt-s than the mustang's gonna get whooped, it has 10hp on you and is a lot lighter. if it's not than it would be close and probably come down to the driver

2002 Mustang Vs 1990 Celica?

First, I'd like to respond to the answerer below me. If you don't know an answer, why respond to it? Are you simply out to get the points? If so, that is the most pathetically ridiculous waste of time I could possibly imagine.

Sorry about that. About your question, I think the Mustang would win. This is simply based on facts, however. In terms of overall status, I would choose the Celica. New Mustangs just don't do it for me - even the new GTs. And trust me, I am NOT one for Japanese cars.

The truth is, 1990 Celicas nor 2002 Mustangs were the prime of their series'. But if these are the only two cars you are able to buy, take the Celica.

I guess what I'm really trying to get at is that there is nothing special about a 2002 Mustang. Celicas are great cars.

My solution: buy like....a 1992 Toyota Supra. As far as I'm concerned, these models look just like an old Ferrari Mondial.

huh well the v6 stang' will probly take of faster.

but the celica is turbo charged and did get 5 in acelerion and performce form car and driver mag.....200hp....if its a gt-s

vs

and the v6 mustang is a rival to the celica.....this has 190hp

over all asians dont drag in asia and the celica which makes the mustang have a slight win with its 0-100 time.........

but track races the celica whould win....

Probably the mustang... but the celica is much lighter than the stang. If the driver of the celica was better than the stang driver, the celica could win. i've been fortunate enough a few times to line up with v6 mustangs and beat them in a moderately modified civic

I think Toyota Celicas and Corollas use to be rear-wheel drive, so I'm not sure, it'd be a close one. I'd say probably the Mustang, but on the other hand, the celica's light as a feather. I'd probably say Mustang over all though.

mm mustang is better but if your going for speed i would recommend Mitsubishi 3000GT they dont make them anymore but that car is fast, it can easilybeat 2008 Mustang, They stopped making them about 1998, so its cheap.
