What is my Horse Power?

I have a 88 lincoln mark VII 302-5.0 HO engine. I put it in 1995 mustang V6 witch is now a V8. also i have true dules exaust system.. with cold air intake running down into my finder witch get much air.....what you that i have in Horse Power??

A P71 with the PI heads & intake get about 260~270, but are listed as 240.

What is my Horse Power?

The stock output for that engine is 225 horsepower and 300 lb ft of torque. With a cold air intake, you might be making a little more than that.

How did your V-6 become a V-8? Did two cylinders mate and have twins?

The only way you're going to know your true HP is to run it on a Dynamometer. Most Hot rod shops have one.
