Does it matter if your car is automatic when getting a dyno test?

I have a 2007 mustang pony automatic and wondering if your car has to be manual to get a dyno or can it be an automatic

As long as it has a gearbox, an accelerator and 4 wheels, it can be on the dyno test.

No, it could be stick or auto doesn't matter. But car dealers say that 07 year mustang V6 had 210hp n the V8 had 300hp well that is hp at the crank of the engine you lose a lot of hp from different things like the ac, power steering, alternator, and finally just power lose before finally getting it to the wheels. And a DYNO measures HP at the wheels. So if u have a V6 you will have like 170RWHP V8 260RWHP (rear wheel horse power)rwhp so don't get scared if u get it dyno'ed and it shows this low of a number.

Automatic transmission cars can be Dyno tested.
