I found a 1998 ford mustang for sale. The car is perfect. It has 50,000 miles. Itís in great shape. The engine and body is incredibly clean. Just a few scratches. I'm 18 years old and just wanted to figure out what the insurance would be. I keep trying web sites, but all of the quotes are $100 different than the other ones. So does anyone know?
Best bet is to call your current insurance agent for a quote.
At 18, the insurance difference between a V6 and a GT is going to be killer. We're talking several hundred dollars difference between the cars. Assuming you are looking at a GT (and I hope you are!), you should expect to pay big cash. At your age it's not uncommon for the insurance payments to be more than the car payment.
You gotta really want the car man because you won't have much spending money. But your car will be hot!
I've owned 4 different GTs over the years and used to pay through the teeth for insurance. But they are worth it because you are only 18 once.
PS...Did you know that there was a body freshing and nice horsepower bump in 1999? Thought you should know since you were looking at a 98.
all company's will show different....your better off going to place's around your town and getting quote's or use the phone book and call places....examples.....geico, madison mutual, allstate, AAA, direct
