Will I get a good price on my trade in?

I plan on trading in a 2003 escalade with 124,000 miles. It is fully loaded (Nav, leather, power etc) kbb is about 11,700. will I hit somewhere around there if I trade it in. I have read that trading in bigger cars such as SUV's and Trucks is a good idea currently. What do you think. I want to trade in for a 2010 Mustang

no

you always lose money on a trade in

sell it yourself

"buying" a used large SUV these days is a good idea because so many ppl are selling them and getting smaller more fuel efficient cars

"selling" a SUV especially an expensive one is about like trying to sell a house these days, your better off waiting till the market gets better unless your willing to lose a lot of money.

the Mustang is good looking car and fairly reliable but the prices have gone up: the base V6 coupe commanding $20,995 and the entry GT $27,995. Add a $1,000 for an automatic transmission, $1,995 for the glass roof and $2,195 for the combined nav and dual-zone option. Convertibles start at $25,995 for the V6 and $32,995 for the V8.

for that much money I'd look at a Mazda RX-8 or a BMW 1-Series

go through a private party...dealership will not give you that much. Or you should check with them first before trading in.
