Would it be a good trade? my 2001 Ford Mustang V6 80000 miles for a 69 Cougar 351W 90000 miles?

My car doesn't have a single body panel that isn't dented or scratched. My bottom is starting to rust out. The 1969 Mercury Cougar is in exquisite condition. There is very little rust. It starts up immediately and shifts perfectly. Would it be a fair trade? Or is there probably something wrong with the other car?

its a great deal. of course it might need a little work, its 40 years old. thats to be expected. but it will definately be worth more, and will turn more heads than the '01 lol. i would inspect the car though, as it does sound too good to be true. try getting a mechanic to check it out. there are always those hidden issues. but idf there is really nothing wrong with it, go for it. without a doubt.

The 69 Cougar is worth more money, and will continue to hold it's value compared to the '01 Mustang, which will continue to depreciate. From a financial standpoint, the Cougar is the way to go. Now if you need a daily driver, the Cougar might require more upkeep simply due to it's age.

heck yes good trade but the miles on the cougar sound to good to be true but i would still trade it. also depends how much u are into classics i mean if u fix up the cougar it will be worth more than that mustang in a couple years. or u can probly ask him to trade and also give u some money too so it could be a little more fair!
