What is a fair sale price for my beat up car in your opinion?

Due to very, very tough times, I need to either sell my car (ex: posting it on craigslist) or sell it to a damage yard. If I sell it on craigslist, I have no idea what price would be fair / realistic.

Specs:

1999 Ford Mustang Coupe (35th Anniversary Edition)
V-6
120,597.30 miles
Car does run, is clean, and just passed emissions, and has an after market stereo (speakers are not new).
Has minor - moderate body damage
Per body shop, my car:
- Has worn out front brakes
- Has bald tires
- Has a cracked manifold
- Has a leaking transmission
- Has a leaking rear end
- Badly needs a tune up
- Needs an oil change
- Needs a brake flush
- Needs a power steering flush
- The drivers side window is off track and may need new motor
- Needs a license plate bulb
- Needs a turn signal bulb

I do not have the money to fix any of these things, and would like to sell the car as-is. Any opinions on what a fair sale price for my beat up car would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Go to www.kbb.com the blue book web site and check the value. It sounds like it would be about $1000.00 to get it in good condition. so I would start with about $750.00 off of the blue book good condition price and go down from there if needed.

I would ask $2500 to $3000 but be willing to sell for as little as $2000
