Mustang, Thunderbird, or Miata?

I'm going to be getting a job soon and saving up for a car. I found 3 examples of cars that I would like: a 1996 Ford Mustang GT, a 1989 Ford Thunderbird SC, and a 2000 Mazda Miata LS, all in a reasonable price range. How much would the insurance be on them when I have only driven on a driver permit with no accidents, age 24? And are there any other factors that would weigh against one of my choices? I'd like some help, to give me insight on what I'm in for when I car shop when I get to that point. (There's 1 Inline 4, 1 V6, and 1 V8)

Mustang, Thunderbird, or Miata?

Mazda Miata LS (aka the MX-5) because it like reiable, does not drink alot, cheap to insure, etc. the Tunderbird and Mustang have to wait till you're ready to buy them when you have enought money.

The Miata/MX5, while a bit lacking in power, is one of the best handling cars in the world. It drinks less petrol as stated before, but on the twisties it'll run rings around the other two. Extremely direct steering and a superb chassis. My 19 year old sister has a 1989 model on her learner's permit and her insurance is around about AU$900 bucks a year. I'd say yours may be a bit cheaper considering you've had no accidents and you're older.

Call an insurance agent for their evaluation, they should provide the preferred data. The rates typically go down after age 25..
