Cars for a hundred dollars?

I just bumped into the car section of eBay and checked out the 0-1000 dollar used cars and see 2008 mustangs starting bid at 100 dollars... So I'm thinking either this is some kinda scam , the car doesn't run or you have to spend thousands of dollars to have the car shipped to you. So like I asked in the title has anyone ever bought a car on eBay?

Would you stop asking this already? It's against Y!A rules to repeatedly post the same question.

The starting bid is at $100. That's not what the car will ever sell for. That's the minimum starting bid. Most people don't bid until the last hour before the auction closes.

That car most probably has a reserve price of $15-20,000 (the Kelly Blue Book value of a 2008 Mustang is $16-23k) so if the bids don't reach the reserve price, then the seller doesn't sell the car. Most cars have a reserve price. You are never going to get a 2008 Mustang for $100 or even $1000 or even $10,000 if it's in good condition
