Used car price ranges and questions !?

Hello, I am looking to buy a USED car but have a very low budget. The most I can spend is about 4K. I need a reliable car that will not break down and has decent gas mileage. I have found these so far (feel free to suggest others) : 2001 Acura CL, 1998 Ford Mustang, 2002 Mustang GT, 2002 Toyota Corolla, and a 2001 Mustang Cobra. Can someone please give me a price range for each car and there gas mileage.. Thanks... I will be rewarding the most amount of points possible to whom ever has the best answer!!

Used car price ranges and questions !?

2001 Acura CL: ..................................MPG 19city 29hwy/ $7,075$8,375
1998 Ford Mustang: ............................MPG 17-20city 25-29hwy / $6,800$9,725
2002 Ford Mustang GT: .......................MPG 17-20city 24-29hwy/ $4,575$8,625
2002 Toyota Corolla: ............................MPG 29-32city 33-41hwy/ $6,625$7,450
2001 Ford Mustang Cobra: ..................Not economical at all, but fast!/in good condition$16,000+
*All are Kelly Blue Book Values except the Cobra, those are expensive top dollar Mustangs, if you find one cheap, either your very, very, very lucky, or more than likely, poor condition (or fake).

~From the cars that you have found, The Toyota Corolla is the most economical in terms of gas mileage. The Corolla is also known for being VERY reliable and known to exceed 200,000 miles. You found 3 Mustangs under $4,000....if i understand correctly, usually when you see a high performance vehicle, they are not good on Miles Per Gallon. Also, i'm sure that any high performance vehicle(whether it be a Mustang, Camaro, Thunderbird, etc.) for that price is pretty beat up with high mileage and had been abused fairly well. Personally, I am a huge Mustang fan but i wouldn't buy one for a low price expecting it to be reliable or economical.

~If you want a cheap car that's reliable and has good gas mileage, look at Honda Civics, Chevrolet Cavaliers, Toyota Camry, or a Ford Focus/Ford Escort/Ford ZX2/Mercury Tracer
reason for the Ford/ because they are basically the same car, except the Focus (same engines, different body) I highly recommend a good Escort or Focus out of experience though, good gas mileage, reliable, cheap maintenance, and i drove my father's Escort, beaut the Sh*t out of the engine and it still runs fine.
