turbo coupe?

There's a good deal on an 85 Thunderbird turbo coupe near me. Anything I should know outside of the usual checks before I buy?

My buying depends on the true condition of the car. If it's good, then it would get a bigger turbo, injectors, tune. What can you tell me about tuning these cars? Is the 85 an EEC IV?

Gotcha. Talked to the owner, he said interior is perfect, runs and drives great, tachometer doesn't work and there are two small rust spots under the rear window. He is adamant about getting 1500. If all this is true, is the price worth it?
