I think with the C7 darker colors would look better because of the half black rear end... I think with a little tint the tail lights should look a lot better also. Overall I like the new Corvette. They didn't go as much toward straight line power, seeing as its only 450HP, But they made it a real corner monster.

I love it. 450 but with full exhaust and cam with a tune, no telling how much this thing will be making.

I'd hold my breath. That's expensive now that the companies have to develop independent valve timing and direct injection and cylinder deactivation stuff. I really would like to rip through that new 7 speed box.

The cylinder deactivation should be easy. As they already mastered it in the g8's

Miss it a little but the GT is a smidge more practical.

Well the problem with direct injection is currently there is no large aftermarket for the actual injectors, therefor limiting just exactly how much power you can add. We are already seeing it as ford guys with the Eco boost. The c7 will probably not make much more than 550 rwhp without maxing the current fuel system.

Don't believe me, check hot rod magazine.

Those Michigan plates? I saw a vid of that on YouTube. Although a vette friend of mine said its possible they already have after-market body panels for converting the exterior

Why would you want to add horsepower. It probably has a very optimum power/weight ratio.

I think they could have squeezed out a little more power, but they did reduce weight a whole lot in the C7, it weighs in around 3k

Why would you NOT want to add horsepower to anything?

I think the C7 looks a lot better in the darker colors than the reds/blues. The thing with it is that it has so many fricken vents and either carbon fiber or black accents. Choose one of those and run with it, but not 2 colors besides the body color and a bunch of vents (regardless of how functional they are.)

I sell Corvette parts for a living, so seeing one that isn't all plastic fantastic is a little breath of fresh air and has evolved a little further away from the orignal C4 wedge shape.
