Help!!!! Whistling noise

I kust got a 2006 v6 with 13,000 miles on it. The only problem is that there is a
loud whistling noise that sounds like a jet airliner. I know its not a leak and everything is stock so its not a CAI. I think it may be the wheel bearings but the car only has 13,000 miles on it. Any suggestions?

It's been a sleeper for most of its life just sitting there. Low miles are great, but things get dried up when not used.

I'd take her down and have the wheel bearings checked, oil change and have them test your brake fluid with a test strip. Basically go through everything.

Post some pics when u can.

Good luck

Thanks! I just hope its nothing to worry about. I had an 04 manual v6 but I wrecked it. The clutch made a chirping noise on my 04 mustang so i got that replaced. I thought the whistling noise could be from air getting in somewhere but the weather stripping is all good... Its just really annoying and frustrating.

Hey dude my 96 mustang makes a whistling noise too but only at high speed. Around 80 mph. I've found it to be my windscreen wipers. Must definitely the right one as it comes from that side. May not be the same issue you're experiencing but I thought I'd share

Yeah, it was actually the differential... The dealership sold it to us as is no warranty but thankfully they care about their reputation so they fixed it for free. I thought with only 13,000 miles on it that it wouldn't have any problems but I was wrong

It's good that they fixed it. No one would ever expect rear end problems. Not with 13k miles.
