K put it this way, now ford has to be creative make something different and better, i love the pressure they are adding, we have something to lose and thats the top, they dont.. We need to show them up and raise the bar a couple notches higher

Maybe ford will do a cobra R? But different name, a 5.8 NA mustang sounds just badass.

I don't think so, a Shelby has more power than the boss and you don't need one.

Do you know what a boss 302s is?
I do not think it can be privately owned like the cobra r and svts were at one time too but obv thats changed, boss 302s has won 3 or 4 GTS championships

I said 302s, thats the name and car produced by ford but yes thats illegal to privately own, and you did have to have a racing license to own a 2000 cobra R or earlier series svt but that rule was changed

What you posted doesn't really say you have to have a racing license to own one or drive one, just that to be allowed to purchase them new you had to produce a racing license.

The z28 is sweet, but it's more comparable to a cobra R than a normal street Mustang. Comparing this to a GT or Boss 302 is like comparing apples and oranges to be honest.

Also, the Road Runner motor is a lot more different than the coyote motor than just an intake. It's made of completely different high end materials to withstand the high revving nature as well as had slightly different cylinder heads, much like how different the z28 motor is with its high end specs.
