Decisions decisions

I need some opinions. Trade in for. 2014 5.0 gt or save up some money for a down payment on. House? I can't decide. I'd love to have a 5.0 but I also want a house to myself.

Thanks guys. Your opinions help tremendously. I found In my opinion good deals on a few 2014 5.0s with less than 20 miles on them for 27,000-29,000$.
The only problem I have right now with getting a house is I travel for a living Monday- Friday and I wouldn't have anyone to watch my dog. Right now I live with my best friend in his fiancé in their basement since I'm only home on weekends and they watch my dog for only 300$ a month but I would love a place to call my own.

You can live in the 5.0 if need be, you can't drive your house. Tell me last time anyone seen a split level house that sits on an acre of land run the quarter mile in under 13 seconds bone stock or hit 60 mph in under 5 seconds. Never.

I know you've made your mind up, but I'm gonna say it again, house. The instant gratification of the car will pass, a home will last a lifetime. The value of a home will always go up, a car will always go down. But hey, we live in an instant gratification world.

Tell me the last time a new mass produced car increased in value? That argument doesn't work...

Actually I am leaning toward a house cuz I'm very back and forth when It comes a vehicle. My original plan was to wait until my car is payed off
And keep it as a toy and buy a truck after
I get a house.

You should probably schedule an appointment with a financial advisor/planner and talk about your personal financial goals. I bought my house when I was 23 (26 now). I have paid about $25,000 in mortgage payments and tax payments since i purchased the house. I probably have about $30,000 of equity in the house. In the past 3 years I would have spent about $30,000 in rent and had nothing to show for it.
I have been tossing around the idea of selling my GT and buying a 2010+ GT500.
Could i do it now? Yes. Do i want to do that to myself right now financially? No.
So what I could do in a couple of years is take out a home equity loan, purchase the GT500, and deduct the interest that I spend on the loan while my house continues to appreciate in value.
The easy part is thinking about all of this. The hard part is getting the wife to agree to the gt500 purchase.
