Stick shift

I want to learn stick shift and want to buy a car that is good to learn on , I also want it to be a mini project car any ideas

240sx. The little ka engines are decent on gas and lasts good, and a lot of motor swaps are available for the 240's if you ever want to mod. A lot of buddies of mine have them and one works on them for a living and has done about 50 swaps.

+1 on a truck, trucks and stangs are easy. its simple to learn though, i learned on a pt cruiser..picked it up in about a half hour and only killed it twice and thats a hard car, even now i find those hard to drive. Just avoid any compact car the worst i ever drove was a mini cooper

I learned stick after I bought my 99 cobra. It's super fun especially when the damn tranny wouldn't go I to reverse or second it's more fun now that its replaced but this damn tob is the screaming siren from hell sometimes :/

Learned on a 2010 ford focus, very easy to drive with the short shift points. Than got my mustang and ha to adjust to it, which was pretty hard at first. Much further throw and tougher stick, very easy now though.
