Upgrading the UCA is a necessity when lowering a car. When you lower a car, even just an inch, you throw off the pinion angle, which will cause premature wear on your pinion bearing along with other parts. By getting an aftermarket adjustable UCA you are able to bring the pinion angle back into spec, as well as improve traction.
