Intresting

So I was at wawa getting a drink and a new edge pulls up next to me we start talking and looking at each others cars and he cut his good scoop out him self. He has the honeycomb part cut as well as the hood its self Question is is there a pro and con and should I do it for now until I get the shaker hood?

First question is what is a wawa? And my buddy has a new edge v6 so are you talking about removing the black mesh in the hood scoop and side fenders? If so I would say do it cause I think it is very weird looking to me.

There was a thread about making the scoop functional in the 99-04 GT section a while back. The general consensus of that thread was that it works for a bit and then the scoop just flies off eventually.

I started a thread like a month ago. I cut a hole under my hood scoop and removed the honeycomb.. It never flew off but it kept raining and I didn't want my cops to get soaked so I just painted the honey comb and put it back on.

i hear a lot of people that do that little mod complain about causing their cops to have issues since there's no drain area for water like with a shaker kit

Bad idea, won't do anything except cram a bunch of road debris and flies into your engine bay not to mention that scoop isn't exactly attached by anything... substantial...

As for Wawa, lol if you think everyone knows about the glory that is Wawa you obviously haven't traveled much. They are a PA/NJ/DE/MD/VA/NY thing but are expanding. I was in Puerto Rico a few months ago and saw one being built and about **** a brick. There are a few sprinkled around the USA in other places too.

Hilarious but seriously true breakdown of Wawa for the sadly uninformed
