Boosted car numbers

So i been having an argument with a buddy of mine and he's convinced he's right as am i...so we've been arguing over if a car comes stock turbo'd and is given specs like 230hp like the srt4 he's saying thats only the motor and not the stock boost and im saying its given the specs with the stock amount of boost which i believe is 12 pounds. And he's saying the stock motor is 230 hp and the stock boost and every pound adding around 10hp hes saying would make it at 350hp and being way faster than my stang.
If any could help with my argument i appreciate it

Lol i figured. Its been an on and off argument for months. And he tries to make me feel stupid arguing and says he read it somewhere. And i asked where the power comes from to make 230hp on a little 4 cylinder without boost. And he said something like they're performance motors and with the boost its faster than your mustang. Sooo a non boosted four cylinder makes the same amount of wheel horse power of my v8 is what he's saying. I knew i was right. I just wanted to prove him wrong lol. Thanks

Honda S2000. I believe that it had 240hp from 2 litres. Normally aspirated.

You're correct. I forgot there are a few n/a 4cyl that can make that. But still not n/a and faster than a stang which is what i was saying and have low torque

Your friend sounds lice a rice-tard. With his "theory" my 2011 WRX makes 260 without boost. When I add the 15 psi, my car actually makes 410hp. Holy s***

Thats what im saying lol. He was comparing a 240sr20det and a srt4 ive driven one and rode in the other. Way faster than the 240 and the srt is quick but the stang is still faster.
Pisses me off when people argue and i know im correct

That dart is turbo'd for mpg.
The srt dart will be a performance car. But it hasn't had a actual release date.

I tried to tell him that the decrease the engine size and put a turbo on there for better gas but he didn't want to believe me. Then went on to talk to another kid about the Turboed Camaro ZL1
