Where to begin...

I suppose with the 1995 SHO

Then a 1992(?) Honda Del Sol that I can't find a picture of

Then a 2000 Contour SVT which I still have and need to get up and running once more

Then I decided to make the Contour SVT my fun car after I sold my Cobra and got a 2002 Honda CR-V. I loved that car actually.

Sold that to my dad though when he needed a DD for a good price and since we were living 5 miles from work I got a 2003 Expedition to replace it

THEN we moved 40 minutes from my work and 17mpg at 60 miles a day sucks ***. That truck recently blew a brake line and my father had recently got his 2003 Mazda 6 back up and running with 140k on it so he gave me that since he had 0 interest from buyers in the price he wanted and he'd rather I use it.

This is all in the period of like 2007-present lol. I still have the Expy as my hauler and the SVTC is a project to get back to looking like it does in the pics that I have not had time for. My 1998 GT Mustang sits happily in the garage and avoids the circle of fate that is me and owning cars. For now...

I have a quick question for all you guys with trucks. How often do you fully utilize the truck? By that I of course mean you haul things such as bikes etc or other equipment/materials.

It's just that from the people around here, I get the impression from the people around here that most people don't and I find it odd.

No offense behind any of this, just curious.

I own a landscaping company so I pull a trailer daily.. Mowers or bobcat front end loader is always behind my truck

Believe it or not, some of us actually work for a living. I dont think my mustang can handle a 1000# tool box in the back.

I'm not saying people don't work. I'm just curious as to what percentage of people ACTUALLY have a tool box in the back or use the back to that capacity. Relax.

Now days, I'd say it's 50/50, half work trucks, half grocery getters.

My Sexpedition is basically a huge station wagon with towing capacity. Its great when we take the dogs places or I need to go to home depot for stuff which is what its there for. Although I am currently in the middle of replacing EVERY DAMN BRAKE LINE so I don't almost die again... Anyone with a Ford Truck, CHECK YOUR BRAKE LINES!

Agreed! Mine failed in the neighborhood once and luckily I could roll to a stop, only time its ever had an issue but im always a little paranoid now when I take it out camping and driving on narrow dirt road with a 3 thousand foot cliff on one side :/

Mine failed at literally the BEST possible time but I still almost wound up in a busy intersection with cars coming 50mph each way... Was able to bury the e-brake in the carpet and stop almost where I would have normally but scared the living **** out of me.

I replaced the bad line where it was leaking right away and it blew out down the line somewhere else so I just parked it and have been running new lines every weekend for a few hours when I get a chance. Its not a DD so it can sit for awhile. I'm almost done, I need to do the two front brakes still and the master cylinder to ABS controller but that's it and they are not THAT bad. Its driveable now but I don't super trust it. Dealer quoted me over $1200 for new non-stainless lines and the labor to run them. LMAO, they can go eat a pile of dicks for that price, I'll be into it about $150 with all new lines. The damn flex lines from the master cyl to the ABS controller are $150 each and can be replaced with two $20 universal AN braided lines with 90 degree fittings. The other brake line I'm using is parts store special coated stuff and flare fittings. Works like a champ and all unions are nice and dry.
