A tech thread means that someone has a question relating to a certain subject, this is just a statement... I would have posted this under "what made you smile today", or something like that.

Well that's great...I didn't title it "tech" so I'm not understanding your point

I think he means that a dyno is best when you do a baseline run and then a post-mod run on the same day. Just doing a run to see your current horsepower and torque is good for a general idea, but those numbers can change from day to day, location to location, and dyno to dyno.

You posted something non-tech related in a tech section.

How is you posting "Dynoed today and laid down 210rwhp and 210 rear wheel torque" going to help anyone?
Now if you had a list of mods, a before and after dyno, and did some form of write up for people to see the differences in everything then it would be great. But just stating numbers has no particular value to it.

I gotta agree...

That being said.. wanna post mods? And maybe a pretty mod dyno if you have it for others to see.

He did post mods in another thread of his. Asking estimates of what his car will make with his said mods. But OP, the before dyno and after mods dyno would've been helpful. Anyway, you're making pretty good numbers! Hopefully I'll get my sixxer to push that

Thanks man! And so comparing to a typical stock dyno I've picked up about 42rwhp and 18 rear torque over stock guys!

I'm still curious to why your torque was the same as horsepower, the 4.0 is supposed to have a bit more torque than horsepower.

Backpressure is a myth, more back pressure does not create torque. It is how the exhaust gases pulse through the pipes that creates torque.

What size exhaust piping do you have?

It's Pypes mid muffler system and shorty headers...I could feel a little drop in low end torque when I installed it...but it's just the regular 2.5" stock piping size

I thought the stock piping for the 4.0s was 2.25"?
