Me and my wife have a 98 with the 3.0 DOHC duratec and we are getting roughly 27 highway and 23 city. Averages about 300-320 miles per tank (not sure how big the tank is)

My 1st car and my car up until my Mustang was a 2000 Taurus SE.. I averaged a little a couple of MPG's worse than Kevo91 but mine was in bad shape...

I feel like it was only a little bit better on gas than my Mustang and I have a V8...

It depends on the weather, it goes down in the summer with the ac or bitter cold winters so its probly realisticly a little less but for the power of that duratec its pretty good. Had a gutless 2.0 jetta that only got 30 highway

Better than 14 mpg lol. Looking for a car for my Mother. She's been driving my Father's 98 z71 5.7L around and well can't really afford to keep driving it around.
