Does anyone remember the way their car smelled when they first got it? Or am I the only one? Is that weird? Am I weird?

Mine's 4 months old and still smells new, even though I smoke in it with the windows down. When it nolonger does, I'll run my ozone machine in it for awhile, to remove any and all odors.

I bought mine in April and it had the smell up until a couple of months ago.. It has had food, farts, and sweaty butts in it... so the smell is gone

I keep my car smelling brand new. I don't smoke in it, no food or drinks either. I vacuum and wipe everything down with Meguiars at least once a month.

The guy I bought it from had it stuffed with Black ice air fresheners. So I kept the tradition going. But my football clothes have been overpowering them lately

Well my shifter bezel isn't on correct, think runs a tiny rich..so smells like fuel..smoke in it probably smells. Need to do some serious detailing especially middle console drink spills. Just been neglecting because slightly broken and plan on replacing sometime. It is sad I tend to take better care of interior based on what exterior looks like and free time i have. Which is nonexistent. Currently 3 part time jobs. So my life consists of work overnight, come home eat, powernap, work, come home and change sit down second and repeat. Then again I've never really been one to detail my cars, just drive them. Jeep is even getting sloppy. I was just looking at interior of stang yesterday feeling bad. Thanks for inspiration next time have good amount of free time...cleanup cars

My car smells just like my friends Mach 1 ever since I changes the seats out for 2004 GT seats

And interesting story, my dad's 01 Suburban has 160k on the odometer, I was detailing it for him and when I removed the giant floor mat that is in the back trunk, it smelled like a brand new car that was on the showroom floor underneath! I thought it was pretty amazing lol

Haha it was 7 years ago but I'll never forget when I bought my '04 gt it smelled like cinnamon. I was 18 at the time. I couldn't find where it was coming from and have never been able to replicate it with standard air fresheners. Now it smells like either black ice or leather "little trees"

Mine smelled like new leather. Now it smells like high end luxury leather because I clean the seats and condition them with griots leather cleaner and conditioner every time I wash my car. I love that smell.

Mine had a nice smell and I got it used from a dealer. I wish I could find out what it was but it did lasted a month or so. Little tree air fresheners suck
