Honestly i would just keep the 5.0 till the C7 Z06 (Might actually be called the Z07) comes out then trade that in.

That's what I was thinking.

Why are you trading now? Any particular reason?

My 5.0 will be worth less when the 15 comes out. I think it is at the top of the market price wise.

But you are still going to lose more on the BMW when you sell it. I just don't think it's a smart move but it's your car your money just sucks you are leaving the mustang brotherhood

I don't want a stingray because it is just a base corvette and I will kill myself when the z06/zr1 comes out and z06 c6 is just old and the gtr is auto so I will get bored during DD. The wife loves the idea and I do too because I never own a convertible :p call me gay lol
You do what ever makes you happy bro. If you want a beamer then rock out. Certainly wouldn't be my style but you will look good in your beamer, heading on down to the yuppie Starbucks and wearing loafers and pink polo shirt. Don't forget to tie a sweater around your neck and throw it over your shoulders. Lmao.

JK bro. Have at it.

A viper would be a terrible idea lol Awesome car, but the OP mentioned he'd like it to be his DD....having your feet melt from a poor side exhaust design is not exactly ideal for a DD haha

I'm with everyone else, the GTR is almost TOO track focused and electronically infused to be a DD.

Glad you're waiting for the new Z07, it'll be worth the wait I'm sure. These new Stingrays are awesome, but they're selling out everywhere which means in a year or two they wont be "oh so special" anymore. That's when the modded Z06's can laugh, and all the guys who waited for the new Z07 (or whatever it'll be called) will be glad they did as well.

I know a few people who DD a GTR, it's a super easy car to drive.... Because it basically drives itself.

Gtr owner hATE when people say it drives by itself lol they think the only reason they call pull 8 seconds around a track over other is because they are f**ing great drivers lol

That makes sense lol I cant speak from any personal experience or even third party for that matter. I personally enjoy the more "raw" and engaged feeling of driving, and I think (pure speculation) the abundance of electronics may undermine that.

The guy who designed the car said it was supposed to be a car anyone can get into and drive around the track lol. It was designed to drive itself.

That they do...but to me, if I'm not going for world records, I rather have a little more influence and direct tie-in to the results.

Now that makes more sense! The 335i was just settling imo. The 750 will at least give you some real high end luxury until you potentially grab you beast of a vette next year. Nice move man

750i with v8 4.4 twin turbo will be enough and with a simple tune to turn up the psi it will reach low 500 wheel hp but no plants to do so. Just put some 22 and call it a day.
