96 is a 1st generation model which will have regular GT40 heads. And $1500 I hope they include a vat of KY for the pounding your *** is going to take at that price.
You should be spending $400-$500 MAX on getting a fresh set of GT40s and $150 for the intake. Bolt them right on and leave your stock cam alone and you are golden. You'll need a few other things like new pushrods/gaskets/whatever but that's the gist of it.
