Looking for new car

Just looking for a new car that I can use as a DD until the new mustang comes out next year.

I found a Chevy Cobalt 2007 automatic with 90k miles. Its $3000 or $99 a month. I have the 3k but jw what do yall think about these cars? Suggesting its in good shape, is it a good deal?

Do you prefer auto? If getting a cobalt Id find a supercharged ss to play around in and get 32mpg. Can find them for the 6k range ive seen some on my area but usually 80k+.
Could just get a decent body of a 240sx with the stock ka and beef up the suspension or buy one with an sr20 to play with too. Many daily beater options.

Do you want just purely a DD, or something to toy around with? If just a DD get something that gets great mpg, if you want something to toy around with MidnightBlueGT is on to something.

Just a DD. Uh most say for the cobalt it gets......25 mpg. Which is i guess good. Theres not many cars where I live that get better than that. If they do they have around 200k miles or are pos. This ones from a dealer so Im sure its in good shape..

I was in the market too and about to spend 2800 on a Honda accord when I found a 95 Grand Prix. I literally paid $700 for the car and it's been the best little car. I've been daily driving it for about a month and a half now every day, and id drive it anywhere. It's no race car. It's not fast. And it will never win a best in show, but it will get me anywhere I need to be and saves me a ton of miles on my other vehicles
