So, this holiday season my wife and I decided to shake things up a bit and travel down to Florida for the Christmas break and visit family members of mine. So, me, my wife, our 9 and 12 year old packed up and headed down to sunny florida. The trip is approximately 1100 miles from our location in Maryland to Boca Raton Florida. I have family members that live directly in Boca Raton as well as Aventura area. The last few days I have spent a good amount of time driving on interstate 95 from Boca to Ft Lauderdale and back,

OMG, its like a high end car show. I have never seen more BMW's, Lexus, Infinity's , Jaguar, Porches, Cadillac, Mercedes in my life. Im talking high end100k cars all day long. I spent the day down on a street called Los Olos Blvd down town Ft. Lauderdale and holy god. Brand new, Dodge Vipers, Ferrari's, Rolls Royce's, Porches, Aston Martins , Mazeratti's , Bentleys, high high end Audi, Corvettes, Gt500's, etc. It was sick . I mean crazy awesome. I saw Mustangs out the a$$. Its like a constint high end car show down there. I got to move to Florida.

I live in Ft Lauderdale and the cars of S Florida are just stupid. Lambos and Ferraris all over the place. Veyrons, McClarens... We got everything rolling around here. You get numb to it after a while.

I had the same experience in Switzerland. People driving their Maseratis in snow, BMW and Mercedes EVERYWHERE. Walking down Banhofstrasse and the Champs-Elysees in Paris was just nuts. There was a Gallardo parked on the sidewalk advertising a "driving experience" for €89/hour. The funny part is that over there they're a dime a dozen. Everyone flocks to the Corvettes.

I live in Maryland too. The only place I've seen in MD with those kinds of cars all over is in Georgetown. I swear every tenth car is a Maserati. Porsches are all over. Even a few Lambos just cruising down main street.

Lmao. Georgetown, I can see. I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and every other vehicle is a Ford F150 or some hill billy pick u truck. Lol. Every now and then you will see a nice luxury vehicle driving around the highways however far and few.

I actually live in downtown Fort Lauderdale all my life. I guess I've become pretty immune to seeing all these things. But I do see Lambos and masarati on a daily basis. Great place to live honestly

Bro, I was on 95 today coming back from Flamingo Gardens with the family and what do I see in my rear view mirror. A black in color Lambo and I immediately felt the blood rushing to my little fella down south.

Of course full max wood was reached when a beautiful silver in color 2003 or 04 terminator cobra passed us and heard their exhaust as he was accelerating past me. I was like a virgin at the high school prom.

Clearwater, KS? I'm in Wichita and we had an ice/snow storm a few days ago, have a high of 56 tomorrow, and then 23 on Sunday. This is the life we choose.

I used to work for Siemens, which had their headquarters in Boca. When instructing classes there, the students came from all over the world to attend the classes. They commented on how they read articles on all these exotic cars in Car and Driver and Motor Trend, and wondered who the heck bought and drove them. Then they came to south Florida and saw them being driven!

Orlando has the Mercedes, BMW, and lots of Mustangs.

Hope you enjoyed your stay in Florida. Next time drop me and Ronnie a note; we'll try to see you.

We have a place in Bal Harbour, Miami and I live to sit out and watch supercars drive by. I will literally see hundreds over a week. I keep pics of all of them, BMWs are poor man's cars.

I also noticed that the majority of mustangs I saw were actually V6 models more than GT models. 11 plus mustangs I saw way more V6 models over 5.0 models. 09 and under, way more GT models of V6. Majority were convertible V6 models..
