You just have to work hard, I started as a lot boy and a mechanic and eventually worked up. Anything is possible

Still young now, it's my grandfather who is the main owner, he started from lot boy, to mechanic, to manager, then he lost his job and went months without a job then got a investor finally opening a small ford dealership and has now built up to where he is now.

I should have said I was talking about my grandfather starting small( I didn't think people would take my serious knowing I was young) he also always tells me those words

I'm 16 that's why my main car is a 2000 mustang V6 that I purchased all on my own, and am buying all parts for on my own. My family is all about doing everything yourself(that's why I'm not in some 2014 mustang gt). But I do get to drive some awesome cars(:

I love the Ford GT's. One of the first 50 - 150 races I ever ran in the Z28 was against a stock Ford GT. After talking to the guy, who was humble in defeat ( he lost by over 5 car lengths ), we got to talking about his gearing vs mine. In my car, on nitrous, I take 2nd to 75, 3rd to 110 and 4th to 150. In his car it was something like 1st to 70, 2nd to 90, 3rd to 135, 4th to 160+. It was crazy tall gearing. He was a cool guy and took me for a ride, absolutely awesome car. I will never forget the sound it made being in the cockpit, it was glorious. All you could hear was the whine from the super charger followed by the belt chirping on each shift. From that point on, I wanted one. Even though these cars aren't built for tall people, being 6'3 I nearly shut my head in the door.

OP, consider yourself lucky, most people never have the opportunity that you do.

I'm also 6'3 and if you lower the seat there's no seating issues, got a 6'5 guy in there too

I know a couple Ford GT owners. My parents have thought about the Ford GT, but aren't sure, seeing as there are so many types of cars out there in that price range.

It's a sweet car. It doesn't look it's age at all and is one of a select few true manual super cars out there. I was actually up in Detroit last weekend for the Autoshow and stopped by the Henry Ford Museum and saw the original 2 time Le Mans winner. I attached the pic below.Click image for larger version
