My current car is my first. A 2007 Manual V6 premium pony package. She is my baby and is treated as if she is a $300,000 car. My pride and joy that I bought myself.Click image for larger version

Mine was a '57 Chevy that cost me $50 (chewed the guy down from $60). That was when it was just another used car. Did I just show my age?

2nd car was a 65 Mustang coupe- 289 4bbl, I swapped the 3 spd top loader for a T10 close ratio 4 spd w Hurst Comp shifter, duals thru glass packs. It was a blast - I learned how to take corners sideways in that car. Wish I had a photo...

My first car in high school was a 1988 Camaro base v8 auto with 90k and a fresh longblock. I babied that car until I realized it was never going to truly be mine. The first car I bought myself was a 1985 Z28 auto with a 450hp 355 and Hurst Dual-Gate shifter, which promptly shattered 2 pushrods and blew the power valve in the carb....the week before the drag strip opened.

You're lucky to get a set of good tires for $900 these days.

My first car was a 1964 Thunderbird - $500. It was fun in college because we figured out in the first couple of weeks that it could hold 2 kegs in the trunk. It was soon replaced with a more dependable and economical Ford Fiesta. I wore the Fiesta out and it was replaced by a 1981 Mustang (staight 6 and automatic). That Mustang was one of the worst 2 cars I ever had - surprised a have one now... FWIW - the Mustang was followed by a 1989 Merkur XR4Ti. I loved that car and it was the last 'fun' car I had before kids. Then I went the way of SUV's and trucks until now.

My first was a maroon 1996 Pontiac Bonneville with 200,000 miles on it. She was a hand-me-down from my mother who crashed it into a tree. The front fender was held on by zip ties lol.
I didn't give a s**t though, that car ran strong and never failed me once. Kinda miss it haha

1968 VW beetle. Put dual Holly-Weber (pinto) carbs on it and dual port heads. Could spin the skinny tires.

2001 Chevy Lumina Sedan, call her "Ol' Bessie" since she's a giant white boat of a car.

Bought her from my mom graduation night for $1,200 after talking her down form $2,500. Cash, and pulling the, "but I'm your son" card helped.

Had someone back into me roughly 6 months after having her and the insurance check was for $1,600 and so I just kept the cash. Free car in my eyes.

I've put 65K miles on her and she's nearing 200K and has never given me any real problems. I still have her simply because she's paid for, insurance is dirt cheap since I get a multicar discount, and she's great on gas for a v6. Can get 30+ mpg's on the hwy if I take it easy.

She a little beat up but honestly nothing too bad, the damage from the person hitting me just left a dent that's only visible at the right angle.

I'm currently debating on finding a family that is in need of a car and donating it, the engine is bullet proof and it would be a great family car. Just trying to find the right family for her.

My first car was also a 85 Fiero but I just had the 2.5 4cyl. Growing up we had about 6 of them at once since we could get them so cheap. I bet the one you had hauled pretty good. They put some crazy swaps in those little cars. I want another one haha.
