Oil filter problem

So I just took my 03 gt to get the oil changed and they asked me if I had an engine swap. I told them no and they said the oil filter that's supposed to fit is not fitting. They said that the 2011 v6 oil filter crosses. What could this mean?

It means they are stupid. Motorcraft 820s is the filter you need.

Sent from my massive johnson.
