Adding running lights

I want add some running to my boss 302 lower valance. My question is if I use leds will I have to add a relay and fuse to run them off off the same circuit as the side marker lights? Or can I just splice directly in?

You'll be fine taping into your current sidemarker wiring because LEDs have such little draw on the circuit. I did it on my '05 with no issues. And a good idea is to use environmental splices to protect against the elements.

So I shouldn't need to add in line fuses or a relay?
