☆☆i pulled the trigger and bought a vette☆☆

Well I've been wanting to buy a Corvette since I was 16. I was looking for the last 6 months and finally found the one I've been looking for.

My Corvette is a 2000 LT1. She's a one owner originally bought in California. She spent one year in California then the original owner brought her to Henderson, NV.

I have all maintenance records from day 1 and the original window sticker.

If you're wondering? I did not sell my Mustang. My Mustang now has a partner in the garage.

Well here are some pictures.

Congrats on the car! Don't mean to be rude, but you have the LS1, not LT1. LT1s were gone by that year.

Very jealous. I was very close to pulling the trigger on a 99 Z06 a year ago. Can't say I agree with the auto tranny or the brag-plate under the climate controls, but congrats nonetheless.

Thanks everyone. Yeah I know it's an LS1 it was the damn spell checker screwing with me. I thought I caught it.

The 345hp is at the crank. I really can't tell which is faster in short distance. They feel the same to me.

The Vette is really mint and has only 46k miles on her. I picked her up for a really good price too.

Thanks again everyone.

My Mustang is a 5 Speed manual transmission. So one car is enough to be shifting instead of two.

I flew helicopters for 24 years. I was a US Marine shot down once and a total of 3 helicopter crashes. I have a fractured back and neck. So the automatic transmission was the only way I was going with the Vette.

I don't plan on doing any mods with the Vette. She's gonna remain all stock.

The manual tranny Vettes are actually a really smooth clutch. My parents have the same model and to me it feels way too easy to push in. Not like most Mustangs where you have to really push.

Just not a c5 fan. Slightly more comfortable than a c4 for triple the price.

Not bad. I would sell That 3v though. Spend the money you get from That to fix up the vette.

I definitely agree. My Corvette is all of the above for sure.

The C4 was the longest running production of the Corvette, but such a totally different car than the C5. The C4 is also the most affordable Corvette for somebody to get into. My friend picked up a beautiful 94 C4 for $5600.00 in great shape and very fast.

That bragging plate under the climate controls is not correct.

The LS1 is only 346 cubic inches or 5.665L.

Also, not sure I would consider it a "Tuned Port Injection" car. It technically is, but generally TPI refers to the old LT1/LT4.

Nice looking car. Enjoy it, they are a lot of fun.
