is it bad to stack old wheels+tires like this?



my snow wheels+tires, stacking them like this won't bend the rims or anything right?

sorry for the pic quality, had a few beers.

I've read it is NOT recommended but idk. If I did it this way I would make sure the tires are inflated and put pieces of cardboard between each tire.

I stack them like that with a piece of cardboard between each one just to try and avoid scratches. Works great

Me neither, other than perhaps the outer rim could get scratched? Not sure how though, as the tire itself usually has a bit of an outer bulge past the rim.

Kind of like why its not good to place a battery directly on a concrete floor; I heard this was not good either, that you are supposed to place it on a piece of wood or cardboard between it and the concrete floor. Never understood why.

Maybe the cardboard manufacturers make this stuff up to sell more cardboard?
