2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat

2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat | driveSRT

Dodge Ram it, I want this. I really want this.

The Hellcat V8 makes over 600 horsepower and over 575 lb-ft of torque.

Also the 392 now has 485 horsepower, up from 470.

And still weighs ~4200 lbs.

Don't get me wrong. I have a serious soft spot for Mopar but they gotta get the weight down.

I hope it doesn't weigh that much. Last I talked with Ralph Gilles (president of SRT) he specifically said that their major goal was to knock weight off the LX platform cars during the refresh.

I want one too. Lol agreed though, every time I see a Challenger, I feel like it's just too big! Everything is proportioned correctly, I just wish they could scale it down to the size of a Mustang or even a tiny bit smaller. But it's beautiful otherwise. And those videos are pretty cool. The ram air parking light delete is sweet!

Hard to knock weight off when most of it comes from it's size!.. Ya it does look cool!.. Just wandering how much too?..

My guess ... $55,000 - $60,000 starting out.

Yep I'd bet it'll be about as expensive as a GT500. I can't see it being $75K. I mean that's Z28 territory, and this Challenger, while nice, doesn't look like it's gonna be a Z28 competitor.

Well the SRT8 is in direct competition of the SS and 5.0!.. Yet is priced considerably more!..

I like the look of the current Challenger better than that.

You will be spraying more than half of what this thing puts down .. I would guess at best, this will be a high 11's @ 122+ car. I really don't see this being faster than the Shelby.

Remember, it's still a "muscle car". It's so much more fun to put bus lengths on a "Super Car".

i think your time would be better spent Mclaren, Porsche turbo, Lambo or Ferrari hunting, in Mexico...

I love the challengers though. My sister had a nice *** 2009 srt8 challenger b4 she totalled it 2 months ago. Rolled it 5 times.

My car of choice dragging is corvettes. Here is a little sticker I add to the tally's when the time comes.
