Neither. The hash marks used to represent Grand sport racing, used by early Corvette teams. Now they represent a Dodge theme.

I don't care what they represent. I like how they look. It's no different than taking another Mustang and cloning it to look like something it is not.

I like the red and they represent something else not a corvette or dodge.

Not sure I follow you. If Shelby or Boss stripes are used on a non Shelby or Boss Mustang, the stripes still represent a Mustang, as long as the name or emblems of a "Boss 302" or "Shelby" are not used.

The stripes you mentioned are neat; they just can be seen as being used by the folks over on the Dodge SRT side of the scene.

No worries though. If you like them, install them.

Maybe a dealer mod. I 'm pretty sure Ford has not put hash marks on from factory.

I've seen several with them. Not 50, but 4 or 5. Simple, and I think it looks good. I didn't realize it was a chrysler thing, but I've seen it on the Vettes, too.

Red, it adds a pop of color and it's sorta unique as everyone's doing black these days

Black or red hash marks

I think I made the red hash marks pop a lot more. I was getting tired of waiting for AM to get some touch up paint for the charcoal AMR wheels, so I painted them satin black with VHT spray paint. I just have to add a little yellow in the caliper paint to get them to match the hash marks.
