Best 4 Door Sport Sedan

Looking into getting a new 4 door Sedan. I'm looking for something around $40-45k with AWD. So far, the Infiniti Q50 Premium looks to be the best option. The comparable models: Audi S4, BMW 335i X Drive, etc. are all much higher starting prices. Any other options out there to look at? Not really a fan of the Chevy SS or Ford Taurus SHO. I'd like something that I could mod a little and have fun with.

Id say GXP or even the G8 gt. Buddy of mine just looked at a newwer CTS-V but went with an 08 G8 GT. The 08 he has is still really nice for that year.

Mitsubishi EVOLUTION or the Subaru WRX STI would fit that category. Second vehicle? or trading in your Mustang?

This ... except RWD only.

The CTS-V - gen 2 is one hell of a car. Snow tires on it for winter and sport tires for summer. A tune, intake and pulley really wakes these cars up. There isn't a better car in your price range.

Go drive one and then the competition, the V2 will win you over. It's that good.

Car is for the gf, but we will both be using it. Hoping to garage my car during the winter months.

I need something that is AWD and preferably a newer model (2011 and up).

Are either of these any good in the snow? I'd rather something with just all season tires and some performance. The mustang will still be in the garage.

A guy I used to work with has a CTS-V gen 2 with pulleys, full exhaust, CAI and tune, it puts down just over 600whp. He put blizzak winter tires on it an drove it this entire winter with no issues. He lives in Indianapolis ... last winter was one of the worst on record for snow fall.

He said it did better than his old Jeep on the road in the snow.

It's not a fancy high end car, but fully loaded with the optional V8 the Dodge Charger AWD is a bada$$ car to mod out. For around the $40,000 mark.

Also consider the Acura TL! My Mom has the front wheel drive version, and honestly, I'd like to try the AWD myself .

The Taurus SHO is a great value and you should be able to find one right around your budget.

My Brother has a charger and it's pretty nice as well. My complaints are the doors are huge, and it's just big all around but otherwise it's a nice car .

The 2015 WRX is fast and cheap. Plus, if your gf can't drive a manual (like my wife) Subaru now offers it with a CVT.

Best 4 Door Sport Sedan

I vote 335xi with some basic bolt ons and a tune that car can make a lot of power but if that's a bit to expensive new I would go with a used one or a Subaru

I'm partial to Subaru. I had a '98 (iirc, it was my car while stationed in Japan) Impreza that was an "aftermarket" STI. I would LOVE to have a new one for my second vehicle - my kids are close to outgrowing the backseat of the 'Stang. I also like the EVO.
