So lets buy one!

75 people each pitch in around $1000. We insure it to the hilt and each of the owners get to put 200 miles on the car. Then we sell it and split up the proceeds of the sale.

Then when the badass Mustang becomes available, we buy one of those...
Pshhhhh nooooooo lol.

I can fill my bottle 20 times for $1000

Hmmm.

I'm kind of disappointed Rap... I figured you to be one of the first to join up.

Will you at least race us for pink slips if we can somehow put this together?

I think that would be a very poor investment...

If you mean buying the Hellcat... I agree.

You can't put a price on that kind of fun.

U think this is justifiable grounds for divorce?

Hmm, let's give the kitten some milk. If we are racing for pinks against cars with spray, we should give the Hellcat a bottle like the rest of the babies.

Honestly sounds like someone got there *** handed to them by a nitrous car, as most of the people who say " bottles are for babies" do

I have had my fun with blown mustangs. Nowhere near as much fun

That would be tough to find common ground since Straybullitt (like me) only really races in AutoX (that I know of)

I've never raced a nitrous car. And I am sure that they are a lot of fun. I, personally, just have much more respect for power that is always there. Anyone can be tough for a second with steroids... just look at professional baseball.

Blower cars suffer from heat soak, after 3-4 back to back runs they are almost done.

I have felt with it in my last 2 mustangs
03 cobra
And a supercharged 08 gt

They are both fun in there own ways.

Still prefer nitrous lol
All you need is a 2nd stage on backup with a lil 100 hit, kick it in in 3rd or 4th if needed

Hey! I can drive in straight lines also... Sorta
And I still feel pretty confident that if I ever meet up with a Hellcat on an autocross course, my 275 hp New Edge will be faster.

I was thinking maybe a 100 shot and a set of drag radials, and, most importantly, the removal of all of the emblems that identify the car as a Hellcat, and dark tinted windows so that it's hard to see inside of the car.
Make it look like it is just a bolt-on Challenger.

A sleeper!

As long as no one sees the missing headlight/cold air intake, you could get away with calling a debadged Hellcat a sleeper.

And there are ways to greatly reduce heatsoak in a blower car. You can hook the air to water intercooler up to your a/c and have below ambient intake temperatures.

To each their own. It is all about what makes you happiest and works best for your application. However, you could use nitrous to solve the heatsoak problem... big smiles.

Another article written by Dan for Allpar regarding Hellcat. This one focuses more on the experience than the technical details.
