800hp in a 3V to beat a 4185 pound 707 hp car. Your smoking that crack again rapinator. A 3V weighs almost 500 less. 700hp and suspension and decent 285 out back and that fatcat will get beat every time.

Dodge just built the most powerful production V8, but face it is not going to live up to that 707hp because of its 4185 pounds!!! Any 2011+ 5.0 with a tvs blower and good dyno tune will kick it ***. A mere 150 shot with a dyno tune in a 5.0 will run with it!

My overall review of the fatcat... Perfect hp but over weight and over priced will cause the car to fall flat on its face.

Numbers aren't everything when it comes to power. Come on, you should know that.

3v's are nothing impressive. I Owned a supercharged one, to remind you.
. Don't go off #'s. I have slaughtered many 3v's more than a few making more than me.

But when the car weigh as much as a minivan numbers mean a lot. Take the fatcat at just shy of 4200 pounds, 4200 pounds are you eFing kidding me??? My wifes VW routon mini-van weigh a mere 300 pounds more. Now just pulley the GT500 with no other mods and it no longer become a drivers race? Numbers rarely ever lie.

How about showing some loyalty to the Mustang and not so much to defend the over weight FATCAT!!!

Stop getting caught up in weight also. The Cts-v weighs 4200 for the coupe. There is alot more factors that cone into play then weight and power.

I have a really good feeling that the hellcat is going to hurt a lot of feelings, towards people who are not expecting it.

Why?
Are you eyeballing a Hellcat as your next car Rap?

Probably, like most other cars, and a lot of other things, the concept is better than the reality...

So you're in way saying telling the GT500 is not set up to put it's power to the ground like the hellcat? Because that's mainly what I have been talking about!!! Face it dude the hellcats power is awesome but never trust manufactures estimated numbers. It will cost way to much as compared to the GT500. All dodge challengers are over weight and over priced.

Ok Smart *** my 5.0 right now has 1.5" lowering springs with upper and lower control arms. 285 nitto's out back. Next spring when I add the Roush stage 3 TSV blower system, stall convertor, drive shaft, dyno tune and put about 575hp to the tires You think my 5.0 that weighs 500 pounds less will not run with and beat the fatcat? You talk like no one on here has a clue about cars. You need to check yourself bud.

I've been around cars and machine shops probably as long as you have been alive. I started in machine shops at 15 years of age. I'm now 44. I have bored out cylinders. machined and ground heads, cams and cranks on and off for the last 20+ years. I haven't done any automotive machining the last 7 years, but I have not lost my knowledge of machining and how the ***** works.

That's what everyone said about the new Mustang and it weight. Rumors it's all rumors.

It's just like the new rumor, the 2015 GT will beat the Boss 302 around a track. Personally i think it will be close only if the track key is not used in the Boss.

Well if you ran the roush tune then yes for sure. A phase 3 roush with there tune can get beat by a full Bolton 5.0.
But it all depends on who does your tune for you.

And yes you are right, I'm 25 but also have been around this my whole life. Was born into it.

No bud, I'm not I just have a good feeling that it's going to be nasty. My sister has/ had (rolled it 5 times) a srt8 challenger and they are impressive with some $$ in them.
So I only have high hopes/ expectations for the hellcat

OK, so being born to do it qualifies you to be a master mechanic/machinist at 25 years old. Now before you get all bent out of shape. I said that to f**k with you and to let you know, you need to to have respect when replying to people who have worked in machine shops and cars for many years. And not talk down to them. Because that is what you do.

I'm pretty sure the only one getting bent out of shape is you???

I'm perfectly fine buddy.
Don't talk down on them, just letting people know certain stuff. To many people get caught up in the #'s game.
I was there also back when I had my 03 cobra

Never said I was a master mechanic/ machinist either. Never talk about going to UTI bc I think it's irrelevant. Everything I learned came from my dad and uncle, just helped that much more once I went to UTI.

Why don't you go with the VMP kit vs the roush?. Alot more efficient.

I don't see how it is more efficient. VMP and Roush both use the identical 2.3 TVS blower. It will all boil down to the dyno tune.

No the vmp kit uses a ported inlet and dual fan heat exchanger/ intercooler.

I said they use the same blower (not the same kit) that is were most of the efficiency comes from. Intercooler count too i understand that.

Is it water cooled? The Roush is air to water cooled!

Same setup as the roush. The vmp is good for 35-50 more HP at the same boost levels as the roush. And runs alot cooler, no over heating in traffic etc. With the dual fans. They also have the Gen 2 kits out now.

Roush rates his at 675hp at the crank. I would run lower boost with the VMP would not want to run to much more than 700hp to 750hp max at the crank.

The FAT CAT is just that FAT and bloated , a SUPERCHARGED 5.0
will beat it every time were talking 500+ pounds lighter that is a lot . Heck if I forge my 3V and up the boost on my V3 VORTECH BLOWER mine could too and my car didn't cost 80 K ha...
