What gear do you run in your mustang?

What is you RPM at 70?

What is your gas mileage now vs your stock gear?

Meant to also ask your cars year and motor size, and if auto or straight shift.

2001 Bullitt
TR3650 (.68 Overdrive)
4.10s
25.9" tall tire
70mph = 2532rpm according to the calculations
80mph = 2893rpm (Most commonly driven)

No idea of the mpg, don't calculate it anymore. I think its somewhere like 16-17 highway only. City is like 13, combined is like 15.

And like my custom license plate (arriving soon) will say..... IH8MPG

Ok I went to the local gas station filled up and took a little trip up I-40 (75.9 miles) round trip. Filled back up at same pump. It took 2.987 gallons to fill her back up. That was 25.4 miles per gallon. I ran between 70 and 75 most of the time with a couple of short burst a little faster lol. Seems like it has not hurt my gas mileage going from the stock 3.27 gear to 3.73. I got 25.5 in July on my trip to mustang week before I changed the gear.
I am very pleased.

I can't remember the MPG on stock 2.73's because I didn't pay attention for the 2 weeks I had them... =P!!

4.10 Gears @ 70MPH = 2500 RPM (Cruise Control)
Around 20~23MPG as you can see by the 40MPG on top and the average of 13.4MPG.

I got 22 mpg yesterday on the cruise. I drove 308 miles took 14 gallons to fill her up. And I drove like I stole it. So I guess the 3.73 gear did not really hurt my mileage much. I am happy
