Unhappy

It's almost impossible to find 92 here in Oregon, Washington or California without buying racing unleaded

Sorry, meant to say 92. Costco is the only place I can get here in the Valley, and down by the Oregon/California border. We lost 93 in 1999/2000.
Shaun at AED recommended I us it as I was getting knock on Chevron 91. No more knock and better performance.

Around here all premium is typically 92. Kind of hard to find just plain 91 actually

You will be pushing your car before you find any 92 octane fuel in CA.

$2.65 for regular in NorCal.

There is a 76 Station in San Jose that sells 100 unleaded gas at the pump.
Glad I moved back to Oregon............

Yes. There are a few stations scattered around that sell race gas at the pump. The Sunoco station in Sunol CA sells all of their different grades of unleaded race gas at the pump. It's expensive though. I think the 100 octane is $8-9 per gallon.
As far as standard motor fuel goes, 91 octane is the best that you can get in CA.

All I know is that Chevron 91 down here gave me knock at WOT (several times, not just once over a 6 month span) and the Costco 92 did not...and it's cheaper.

Costco gas is actually a higher quality fuel believe it or not. We are paying $2.25 for 93 octane right now and $1.80 for 87.
