Poor Weather

I know where I live (East Tennessee) we have had some of the worst weather in years. Everyone likes a little snow here or there, but those who have a Mustang know they are not the best in poor conditions. I’ve been forced to lock my car up for almost two weeks now. Is there anyone with the same problem? What’s your poor weather car? I’ve been driveing my ’97 F-250.

Michigan has been terrible. Under 10 degrees for days and even set some records for cold temps. My driveway is OK but once I got my mustang out to the road I would be done. In highschool I dd a z28 all year round, what a pain. Pretty much park the car in mid-late November and it doesn't see the road again until April or late March if were lucky. My daily is a 2012 Kia optima sx, thing that sucks even more is that my Kia is faster than my mustang at least to 60-70 mph.

Not an exclusive Ford family anymore either, although it was all I owned up to a few years ago. Current winter/work car is 2014 Maxima SV Sport. Factory 19s replaced with 17 inch rims with snow tires and it goes very nice in the snow. It is significantly faster than my Mustang too (for now).

When it gets really deep, we use our 2013 Armada, thing is a tank (and gets similar mileage)! Here are a couple pics.

Finally got the Stang back out today, took about half an hour and dry wall sheets under the wheels to just get it to go down hill. This thing has NO traction in the snow..
