Aftermarket CAI.. help?

I currently have a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse, and last Christmas, put an aftermarket CAI on it, but it keeps throwing the PO505 check engine light, ( something to do with the idle air control valve ) I've replaced the idle air control valve and MAF sensor almost 4 times each, and it keeps throwing the check engine light. Any more thoughts on how to keep it off, without putting the factory intake back on?

Just take it off. You're not making any more power with it on there. Especially if it isn't tuned.

I hate the way the old intake looks though😩 if nothing else, even without the extra HP, I like the looks of it.

Well. If you wanna keep replacing the thing you were taking about then leave it on. Just ask yourself if the looks are worth it?

I don't have to keep replacing it though, the MAF sensor and Idle air control valve aren't the problem, and I'm not entirely sure it's the CAI either.. There was a point in time, where I had the aftermarket CAI, and the check engine light stayed off, but when I replaced the throttle body, something messed up again. And I also broke the screw that adjusts the idle on the car..
