Use of Octane Booster.

I was wondering if anyone uses a Octane Booster in their Mustangs. And if you do what kind do you use.
I have a 93 Race tune on my 2012 GT and sometimes when I'm on the road I can't find 93 octane gas. So I've been using a octane boost that is made by Nos. I read up on it and it got a very good rating on how good it is. It's a true octane boost and not a injector cleaner like most of them are. It ads 3.1 points on raising the Octane. In other words if you use 91 octane it boost it to 94. I can tell a big difference in power in the set of my pants. It feels like a 10 hp increase.
But if anyone used a different kind I would like to know about it. Thanks!!

I have used and logged the nos racing formula on top of 93 pump. It works pretty well as the ecu will give me 30 degrees on it with zero knock. At only 9.99 for a bottle is cheap insurance imo. The old srt4 neon guys used to use this. It was the only off the shelf stuff that would put their srt4's into HOM besides torco or race gas. I'm currently using VP Octanium and testing it. It is supposedly up to 8 full number gain on 10 gallons pump. But, it's 16 bucks a bottle. fyi

Torco works great. I add half a can to my tank when I spray my 86 Mustang. If I don't, I get noticeable detonation. It's a 10:1 331 stroker I'm hitting with a 175 shot. Works out to 520hp at the wheels on a Mustang Dyno.

What i would think if the car is rated the best performance at 93 octane fuel, and what basically octane booster is a compound thats more resistant to burn. Then what would happen is nothing. Unless you have a supercharger or a turbo charger to force more air in.

I had a coworker that raced a camaro. said that the nos was the only one of the shelf at the store that would actually boost octane a little bit.
