Car is fully built (engine, transaxle, suspension, brakes) car runs on 14lbs of boost on pump gas and 21 on racing fuel, 540 hp and 600ft lbs of torque, single variable boost turbo (forgot size). Weight under 3000lbs body mods are larger wing and front air dam. Car is capable of 30lbs of boost and 1000+hp 1100+ft lbs of torque, need to upgrade fuel system for that power. Used to be twin turbo (much smaller) at 600hp. Fikse forged aluminum wheels 10in wide front 12 rear. Retired race car, road Atlanta. Has short fourth and fifth gears, does 95 in 2nd. Only driver assists are power brakes...
This is compared to a stock 88 Slantnose...Click image for larger version

Yes it is, it's my favorite car ever made. I love everything about it, even how it sounds when you open the door. Very blessed to say I have the keys to my favorite/dream car.
But I took pictures to show the beauty of the craftsmanship that went into making the car (it's hand built). It's one of the few timeless designs, that's why Porsche has changed the overall shape for over 50 years. Needs a little work, but it's a completely different animal, than my Roush...

It's fine, I'll post pictures of it and you can ask anything you want about it. I'll answer them to the best of my ability...
I'll try and post a video of it, soon I'm pretty sure it has to go through YouTube though...
But I've got a lot of family in Louisville , never know it might make a trip up there...

Yes, it's a Porsche tradition. They put the ignition on the left side because in lemans, it used to be a running start race. It would begin with drivers running to their cars start them and the fun begins. They thought it would be quicker to have the ignition on the left side. So you start it with your left hand and put it in gear with your right. It was quicker than starting with your right and putting it in gear with your right...
They put the same set up in their street cars to honor their race cars. It's similar to the Carrera GT used a wooden shift knob. They honored their 917, since it also used a wooden shift knob, to save weight...

Hahaha, you got to the thread before I could reserve more posts lol. I agree. I want to get back into an evo x most likely or some other awd sedan turbo (rs focus?) in the future when I no longer need a truck.

They're definitely a blast to drive and not worry about not being able to control the car.

^ I drove a friends si coupe, and it would probably be one of the few jap cars I'd own, had a 04 350Z and didn't care for it.
And in that Porsche that thought is constantly in your mind, hard to control...
