I do too. I had the opportunity to buy it, regretting it now. Which I didn't want to risk the friendship over the trade.

Yes, never a dull moment here. We've got a very interesting mid 90s Jaguar that has a drag racing type shifter in it. It's stock but the way to put in gears is very similar to a drag racing shifter. Very interesting piece.
I'm waiting on an approval from the owner before pictures and better details are posted.

05 S type R, 390HP 4.2L Supercharged V8. I'm not a big four door guy but that car was awesome. I miss it.

Update. Challenger restoration. A short story.
Well I finally found the trim pieces he needed. The car has made quite a lot of progress since I've seen it last. It's coming together nicely.

^ probably the worst area on the car that had to be fixed. Fenders were beaten inward (BIG NO NO!) and tail light panel was installed wrong (crooked). A very thick layer of bondo covered the gap.

Passenger quarter panel skin was raised 3/4 of an inch, where it should've been to start with.
It's now still in progress and we also found out the driver quarter panel was installed wrong (Yay!). The drain rail trim piece, over the window, contacts the body at the corner of the sail panel and rear driver window (not good!).

^ passenger door is coming along well. Only issue is THE HOLES FOR THE MIRROR ARE IN THE WRONG SPOT! Eh, it'll be fixed so no worries car is in very good hands.
Ok so bad news. The driver rear inner fender needed to be replaced BAD. It doesn't align with the quarter panel, there's over an inch gap between them. So he's going to do the best he can. We might drag it back to the shop and weld some metal in and sand it down. We weren't aware of the damaged inner quarter panel until now.
Please note all the bondo you see will not be on the car when it's painted, he is using it as a template to make metal copies to weld in. He doesn't like bondo at all and hates how the car was done. I trusted the other guy and well it didn't end well.
I've also locked the keys in my truck at his place so I'll be back there tomorrow. He's going to take a look at everything it needs. We'll schedule a time so he can repair the damaged areas. You might ask why I'm dumping money in a 15 year old 191K mile truck, to be honest I love it. It's been so good to me and I like it a lot. I have zero intentions of selling it. So I'm going to address the issues before they get worse, since it's not going anywhere.
That's all for now!

Great pics and write up. Wow, that's a lot of work but it will so worth it when it's done. Great car and one of my favorite of that era.

Well the two that have been posted are the only manual trans C4s I know of in my area. As for notchbacks I can only think of one around here, and I rarely see it.

Yes, I know about it. I want to restore a 78 King Cobra. One of my favorite mustangs. Plus a V10 is probably my favorite engine set up. They have such a unique sound.

02 Mustang. It's got a few mods as you see, mach 1 grill and terminator wheels. It's a V6, manual, with two tone interior, cloth seats, and no rear spoiler. It's a driver so there's a few imperfections on it, naturally with 190K miles. It drives nice and smooth, but it does have an exhaust leak (you can smell it in the cabin). It will be addressed later. It came for trans and diff service. Not a bad car.

01 SLP GTX. Car is one of 8 (#8). It's make close to 400hp (380) from SLP; he has done some modifications so it's probably over 400. We put some Flo-Pro mufflers on it and got the exhaust breathing better. It also sounds good too. Car is originally red, so yes quite a few mods done to it. Various suspension mods. Owner has it tuned to 10lbs of boost. It has a RAM AIR hood as seen. A lot of tasteful mods done to it. Really nice piece.
Future plans: CAM and possibly headers.

08 SLK 55 AMG. Car is in for some A/C work. As you can see it has 2 vins. An interesting fact about the car, is engine bay stickers that give you info about the car state it is a 5.5L V8. My data sources state it's a 5.4L V8. As I read more about the car, (I'm not very familiar with the car, so I did some research) it makes around 355HP. Which I think that's a little weak for a 5.4-5L V8, it's N/A by the way. Anyway, I took the owner back to his work in the car and I have to say the seats are marvelous, you don't move at all when turning, normal or aggressive. One issue for me was the head room could be a little better, I'm 6'3. The interior is decorated with high quality leather, brushed aluminum, and carbon fiber. Check back later for more info on the car. I wrote this up because I had a few minutes to spare. Back to work.
Part 1 of 2.

Looks like a really good show. You ever consider coming to Michigan for the Woodward dream cruise. It will not disappoint. Just tonight i saw a Ferrari, Lambo, a couole Maserattis, tons of Mustangs all years, delorian, tons of 60s/70s muscle cars of course. Its still a little over a month away and its already getting busy on Fri and Sat nights. You have to go at least once in your life. The Friday before the cruise they have one of the suburbs downtowns full of just Mustangs of all varieties.

TGR's garage/car shows and events...

It was considering how humid it was. I debated on going and then said duck I'll go. My Impala's replacement battery was giving me issues and it irritated me. And I always want both of them there. So, I got the mustang out and met up with some friends and made some new ones. It was a nice turnout. Plus I got see some new cars there which is a good thing.

04 mustang. Exhaust. True duals set up; I'm forgetting what mufflers we used. I was running errands all day long. So I basically clocked in and got back in my truck. It's spending the night at the shop; so tomorrow I'll take a look at the mufflers tomorrow. I'll get some pictures of the set up too.

I like that engine. Even the alternator looks fairly easy to get to.

We told her that her Mini Cooper was toast. So she bought a Subaru SUV, I don't remember what it was. But it was a medium lime green with black wheels.
