00 F-550 Lariat Fontaine 4x4. Came in for exhaust repair. So after talking with the owner about the truck I've learned a few things about it is. Not a truck guy so I had no idea what I was looking at. Anyway it has the Fontaine package which includes exterior body kit, suspension upgrades (air ride), and interior upgrades. Owned has also done quite a few modifications himself, includes various powertrain mods. He had the truck weighed and it's at 10,000lbs with no fuel. It has a Dana 130 and 4.88 gears in both. Very nice piece.

Do you need a class a cdl to drive that tank? Lol

I'm not sure but he's driving it. Then again most of the police around here don't give a crap; as long as you don't cause any trouble.

I doubt it, my old football coach had one of those F550 beasts and didn't have a CDL.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. I told the owner it could be classified as a small semi. Drove it for a little bit and the throttle response and power were unbelievable.

79 Ghia Notchback. Came in for some exhaust work. It had some glasspacks on and owner wanted something that sounds better. So we installed some Flo-Pros (40 series style) on the car. Mods include subframe connectors, lower control arms, springs/shocks, 87-93 fox body kit, edelbrock carb intake and heads, mild cam, shift kit, converter, BBK longtubes and H pipe, and now Flo-Pro mufflers. It sounds great now. Nice deep throaty growl. Please note this car is not finished; it was in because exhaust was next on his list. It's a work in progress and it's going along quite nicely.

02 GT. This belongs to the owner of the Ghia posted above. It will most likely be coming for a tune up very soon.

87 Regal T-type. Came in for a A/C service and also has exhaust leaks at both headers and the turbo. So mods, there's a lot. Full suspension, E85, drag radials, upgraded turbo/system (most likely 20lbs+), shift kit, converter, HUGE intercooler (it's bigger than the radiator), and many more. The car has incredible throttle response and power. The A/C is fixed and blowing ice cold. The exhaust leaks will be repaired sometime this week or the next. I'll post update pictures of the repair process. Best muscle car of the 80s, in my opinion.

Ive always had a soft spot for those and the Grand Nationals of course. I also love the Cutlas from those years as well. Most of the 80s Cutlas's, Monte Carlo's i see now by me are all "donked" out on 26" wheels, lol.

Those are nice cars. G-bodies? Hopefully my next car will be a Buick Riviera T-type, '80-'85. I love that body style. They're getting pricey though.

Yes they are awesome cars. My buddy's 84 Grand Prix is at the shop for a lot of repairs. And a coworker has a 84 Cutlass Supreme. Luckily, both of them are mostly stock and have an enormous amount of potential. Just the style of the 80s muscle still looks great to this day. I've just never cared for the plastic nose on Montes.

Gotta love 80s muscle cars. I think the Montes plastic nose looks like '82 fox GT's, but foxes pulled of that look better. Rivi's more luxury than muscle, but I bet the T-type is quick. I'd just want a really clean hardtop cruiser. Dad had a few Rivis when I was a little boy & he'd tell me the "R" emblem was for my name & I loved that, lol. They have a soft in my heart & I just like those bodylines. Maybe in a year or so I'll have one in my driveway.

So, update on the Regal. Well we thought the header flanges were warped, it's true. Owner is ordering some and should be here later this week or next week. Turbo is ok and no damage to report. Everything is going along smoothly, just waiting on parts. And everyone loves it when they stop by. Truly a gorgeous car.

Forgot a few things. I was able to talk about the car with the owner, for a couple of minutes. Engine is running on 22-25lbs of boost, with a built V6. it's in the neighborhood of 500rwhp. I'll get some better details later on, he was pressed on time.

I told him that if I ever got a DeLorean. I'd have the 88 MPH glow red. That's what sucks about liking cars. They built too many frigging cool ones!

68 Charger General Lee. Car is in for a few things. The power steering is not working. The trans slips in drive. And the blend air door isn't working. The car has a 440 and 727 in it. Engine mods, from what I see/hear, are longtubes, carb, cam, intake, heads. More info coming shortly.

11 Charger R/T. Put some super 44s on it. It sounded good, but not loud. So after talking with the owner we cut off the resonator and put pipe in. It sounded a lot better than I thought it would. I love the interior in the car; that red looks gorgeous. Very low mileage 4,4XX, and very well taken care of. Definitely a good representation of a muscle sedan. Very nice.

That's a nice Charger, not into the interior with the red but nice other than that.

01 Cobra convertible. Unfortunately, it came in for a possible rod knock. Mods I see are exhaust, brakes, tires, and shifter knob. Body is in very good shape and paint is too. The top and interior are decent. We don't see a great deal of mustangs; so it's nice to get a Cobra. Might consider bringing it home if the owner decides to sell it. Nice car.

There's a few more cars that I'm waiting on approvals before posting them. And I have to say the General Lee's exhaust note is the closest to perfection for a cammed carbed V8 sound.

67 Mustang. Old muffler system was rusted/rotted and we put a fresh system on it. It also has a fresh paint job done it. Straight 6, and a very good looking one at that.

05 350Z convertible. Exhaust repair, and a check up. Owner has done some tasteful mods to it. Head lights, taillights, wheels, and a few other mods. I've not seen one these with a five spoke muscle like wheel. Looks good. Nice piece.

06 GTO. Sorry this is the only picture I have of it. It's owned by one of our local body shops. We did an alignment, light engine repair (top end), and got the ECU out of limp mode. It was wrecked, and the body shop bought and resale. I've always liked the red interior and gauges, these cars had. Unfortunately, it's an auto, but still is a pretty nice car.

73 Nova SS Pro street. A friend of mine bought this last Saturday. It wouldn't run for more than 5 seconds. So, basically knowing absolutely nothing about the car, we started repairing things. It turns out the car was set up for ethanol and we converted it back to gas. Car was setting for a while and the carb needed rebuilding. It has a quick flow 750 cfm 4 barrel, possibly a 142 blower, on a built 350. It's a 4 speed, caged, tubbed, and has a set of 13.5 mickeys on the back. Still in the process of getting it licensed and what not. He also put the butterfly breather on it, and the hood is staying off for now. Still have a lot of things to work on it, but a little at a time. It's a pretty nice car, paint is really good, body lines/gaps are pretty good. It has 40 series on it for now; owner has a habit of changing the exhaust about six or seven times. It will most likely have an X pipe and muffler delete. Interior is nice, and the racing seats are very comfortable. The six point harness doesn't want to cooperate at times its on the list so it's tolerable. Really nice piece.

Ok lots of progress! Trunk, door jams, and engine are painted at this point. Everything is looking great. He was able to fix all the crappy body work done to the car. He doubted he could but thank God he did. Anyway, everything is under primer. He need a few parts, that's why the lines aren't that great in these photos.

^ two coats, no clear coat. It was that scenario of looking at primer for so long some flaws bled out. With the paint on he saw the issues again. Mainly on the trunk and rear of the car.

^ T/A Challengers had the antenna in the back. He made the hole, and reinforced it.

With clear coat, mostly. This the second time he painted the car. And again he had some issues with the rear of the car. That's why you can see some places without clear coat.

^ hood is repaired and painted. It was pitted in various places on the hood. Everything was repaired and painted. Again, looks great!
So, you might ask what's left for him to do? Taillight valance is painted black. Front spoilers (two) will be painted and mounted. And just a few minor adjustments then she's coming home!
I started painting the intake and a few other engine components, yesterday. I'll post pictures of them tomorrow.

We also named it, Yellow Jacket. Since you know bumblebee is pretty much a Camaro name. The color is Top Banana.

I know it's a tough question but how much would it cost to restore a 66-68 mustang ?
