Maybe someone is posting right now on some forum, that their bosses boss has a 16 Chevy truck lease as a daily, and 2 older but not classic Mustangs as summer toys (talking about me, if you didnt get it)?

Im not drunk at all either, just loopy on coffee and a very long work day today. Ok Im done now.

TGR's Garage...

For $120k I'd be looking at a ACR. Never really liked the Grand Turismo's long wheelbase look.

Update: Challenger restoration. It's been a while I know. Some private matters have been happening more often that I'd like. But then again we have no control such things. On to the car.

Radiator installed. Got it for a good deal, compared to most prices. Word of advice don't restore an E body unless you got some deep pockets. These things are murder on your bank accounts. Anyway, the car is on a dual post rack so we can get the engine/trans installed. After watch several episodes of graveyard cars (Mopar restoration tv show) and examining the car for a good amount of time. Verdict is unbolting the crossmember on jack stands, raising the car up, set the engine/trans on the crossmember, and let the body down. Vague description but pictures will do most of the talking. Pulled out the diff for the giggles and to finally find out what gears the car has. 3.91s which is great. Other plans for the weekend, bumpers install then start some pluming on the car. Also for the weekend I'll be installing the Hurst short throw for the GT. Looking forward to the 40% throw reduction!

Got the engine in the car. Flywheel/clutch mounted, next is the bell housing and the trans, tomorrow. Everything went well. No issues. Looks great in the car; now it needs to run!

Getting close.......be ready for spring time Cars and Coffee! But you will need a car hauler for your Impala, Charger, Roush, and new 3v. You can pull them with your truck, lol. Thats a lot of oil changes, good thing you have a professional shop in the family.

Fixed it.
The family is getting bigger and bigger. And for the record I don't own trailer queens. They're driven to every show they attend. Depending on friends I might have to make several trips to a show. I like to have them together at shows; don't ask why, I'm just weird like that. And yes lots of oil, especially the Porsche 13 quarts. Normally it's cruise-ins and charity/fund raising car shows.
Challenger has a little more progress on it. I'll get some pictures later today and post them. Can't do it at the moment installing my Hurst short throw in the GT right now.

Sorry I did mean Challenger, after I posted it I knew I screwed up, but was too lazy to change it. Earlier last night I was watching some videos on the newer Chargers, thats my excuse, lol.

I guess I didnt know the Porsche was yours too, lol. Thats a ton. If I had multiples I would want at least a couple of them at the shows too. Talk about car insurance premiums.

It didn't want to cooperate during the install, and I broke something. Pain but well worth it. Very pleased with the results.

Nice and tight. I like it better than my Roush short throw. It might be because of me tightening it but the shifter is a lot stiffer than the Roush.
Another interesting thing is the GT has a stiffer clutch too. Then again the slave cylinder and throw out bearing are getting a little tired.

Every day is a joyride.

Looks good, Ive always wanted this shifter. Thought about getting it for my 96 but havent decided yet. Probably going Triax or MGW. Can find good deals on gently used Triax shifters so it may be what I get as Im looking at a couple currently. But the look of the Hurst cant be beat IMO.

It wasn't too bad. $253 off AM. But I think I bought something else with it.
