TGR's Garage...

It sounds wicked. Open headers at the moment. I'll try to get a video sometime of it for a comparison.

I had a friend who purchased a Bill Ireland 68 Torino that had a 427 built by Holman&Moody..........the car was red and top loader with 3:55 locker.....loved that car.........Bill Ireland was a local road racing/drag racing legend in the Northwest in the 60's 70's......I raced against Bill in my 63-1/2 427 Galaxie and my 68-1/2 CJ Mustang.........he had money and was backed by Ford........here is a short of his 68-1/2 CJ Mustang....Bill Ireland the drag racer - Ask.com YouTube Search

Lots of really nasty Fords there. I still want to see a Talladega in person some day.

My all time favorite Nasty Ford is this one.......got to see it in person more than once.....this pictures were taken a few years ago.
I did see a 69 at Bill Ireland's shop less the motor and trans and the front sheet metal looked almost as bad as the Charger Super Birds....for building over 500 of the Talladega's they sure looked like they were thrown together in a hurry....not factory assembly line quality.

Wheels finally arrived today! Pretty cool the tires say T/A on them. OEM tires were over $800. So duck that. Took the tires off the chrome wheels and mounted them on the new ones.

Finished the exhaust on the Torino. Made from scratch H pipe and mufflers are 40 series. Owners request for clamps instead of welds. Lucky for us we were out of 2 1/2in exhaust clamps. So we'll have them tomorrow. Then align the exhaust tips, and I'll make a video!

I love those BFG Radial T/A tires...perfect vintage look with the raised white lettering for old cars. Have a set (plus spare) on the Camaro.

It's at the interior shop. Headliner, sun visors, and other components are being prepped. Black is color obviously. Stuff was wrong as usual, but proper ones are on their way. Also correct T/A beauty rings are on the wheels look great! That's all for now.

So how much do you want to sell it for? You've got too many cars already plus you'll need another project anyway.

Isn't leaving for anything less than 40 in current condition.
And looking at a 70 Cuda' at the moment. Checking on parts and labor prices.

It's really nice I like it I'm trying to resist adding any more cars again. I had a bunch at one time and it's cool for a while but then it gets stressful keeping up with them all. Get a rough patch and have some issues with a couple of them at once it gets downright frustrating. So my rule has been only one "fun" car but you know if the right deal comes along that I can't pass up who knows.

Definitely. I was getting ready to ask how the classic hunt was going. I appreciate the kind words; car is a money pit but it's worth it. Not really, but you get what I mean.

98 Mustang GT. As you can see the car has been with us for a while. Car has been nothing but reliable for the owner. He's a personal friend of mine and a huge Mustang junky. Car got hot and well things went down hill from there. Many many many things needed to be addressed, and car sat for a year. Car has some Flowmasters on it and sound great.
One day at work this happened, while I was moving it:

Any way all that is fixed, but it needs a radiator. Car is will be stay for a while longer. But it's nice to have it around; I've always liked the SN-95s.

Yeah, failed to mention it blew the rear freeze plug from overheating. So Trans out, fixed that. Few more things to address then it's back on the road. Still need to get pictures up of my buddy's GTO that's at the shop. It's really nice.

05 GTO. Came in for a tire balance and few minor teaks and adjustments. Car is fresh out of the body shop from a shaved decklid job. Mods include full exhaust, some suspension, wheels, visual mods. Owner is a personal friend of mine and unfortunately the car is being prepped for sale.

Always liked these Australian imports....although never tempted to buy one. I like the color and at least for me the wheels are hideous...I saw a 16k mile 06 that the guy wanted $23K....on the other end one with over 120k miles are under $13k

Still trying to talk him out of selling it, but I think he wants $13,900. Pretty good for an LS2.

I know. I was going to buy one of them before I got my second 3V. Contrary to what most people believe I think they're good looking cars.
