Gas tank installed

Long over due. But lots of progress done since last update. Things I haven't been able to get a photo of: roof liner and cabin light, made the brake line system, and hood is on. I'll get photos of them next time I'm at work. Possible tomorrow.

Just beautiful! Those lines on the side of the body of the challenger. Hard work and patiences can really pay off.

Figured I'd post these here too. Swapped my cast Roush wheels for forged Roush RR03 wheels. Dimensions are 18x10 for both. Switched the tires as well Cooper Zeon 2XS 275/40ZR18.

Pretty sure I said it's not the original engine in this thread. But no worries. Car is a Frankenstein. 72 Challenger chassis, 71 Challenger power train, 70 Challenger body and interior and some engine parts (T/A exclusive). Yes it's a clone, but it has everything a real T/A has except the block. T/A's had a special block, exclusive to them and the AAR 'Cuda's ( T/A's cousin). I got it at a museum about 45 minutes from me. Museum went bankrupt and auctioned off all the cars. This was the only car I was interested in. I got there late, auction was over. The guy who bought this Challenger was getting ready to load it up on his trailer. From Birmingham, AL. I started talking to him about it. Then asked him how much he's take for it. You know the rest. He was kind enough to trailer it to my house. That was September 12, 2009.

06 XK8 convertible. We did a full inspection, checked the parking brake, and connected the Bluetooth. Car has 19,574 original miles. As you can see its in excellent shape. Owner loves it and I can see why. It's got a great color combo on it. Nice piece.

Back when I was in my 20's I was messing around with this nurse who this doctor had a crush on who had one of those. She picked me up in it a few times and let me drive it very fast and very smooth. I wanting to say his was some kind of special race edition. I had never felt something pull so hard and smooth it was almost like one of those steel rail roller coasters. I had a 99 Firebird Ram Air at the time and that Jaguar would have killed my car.
