Got a few things done to the 427R. Lowering springs, .50in in the front and .75in in the rear. Roush Double Adjustable Lower Control arms. Roush boost gauge and MM Double adjustable Panhard bar. Very happy with the results.

82 Trans Am. We've done quiet a few things to it so far. Headers, carb tuning, fixed the shifter, etc. Now we're working on interior. Since these pictures we've installed a digital instrument cluster and a rear back up camera that's hooked up to the touch screen radio. I'll get photos of that tomorrow. Car has a 383 stroker in it and sounds great. The American racing wheels look awesome and complements the paint nicely. The interior is a combo of maroon and black. Very nice piece.

One of the few new cars I've ordered was my 76 TransAm. 455/4spd with no air, screaming eagle delete...stripped down as I could get in 76. I put Hooker full length...shorty headers were not invented back then.....Canton 8 quart road race pan and complete 74 SD exhaust from the headers to the chrome tail pipes. Had the car tuned at Major&Murray...carb worked over, timing and ignition....I had also made the scoop functional...when my wife was away I paid a vist to
PIR and with 3.23 gears and through the muffler did a 13.2 at 98mph. All the guys in their new 77/78 TransAms kept coming over and asking me what I'd done...they were turning in the high 14's and low 15's.
This was actually my 1st wifes car and she was away in Europe....it was a quick car for the mid to late 70's and the last of the big blocks.

Always loved the body styles of these Trans Am's and of the 80-92 Camaros. I've been looking at picking up a Camaro around those years, usually around $2000-$5000 where I live, but my fiance would kill me. I barely lived in December I went to a Nissan dealership looking at a small truck as my first "nice" car out of college and ended up driving home in my 2011 Mustang . Her aunt had a son recently passed away who had a fully restored 67 Camaro, she was looking to sell it so I told her I would buy it, she's looking for about $45,000 for it. Has 30K original miles, if she still has it when I go out to Seattle to see her in August I will get pictures of it (and hopefully get to drive it around). Still trying to convince her to give it to me as a wedding present.

If you were a young gentlemen of Italian descent in the early 80's, anxiously awaiting the debut of the all new third generation F-body cars, so that you could be one of the first to own one, you would have been forced to purchase a Firebird. If I remember correctly, they were the first to hit the dealership showroom floors in 1981, a month or so before the Camaro.

Installing a new MSD box on my buddy's 73 Nova SS. Having to do some wiring work and what not. Then we installed his custom driveshaft. Now tie rods and ball joints.

Too young to drive back then. My uncle was that young guy and he did have a firebird. In the early 90s my cousin got a used yellow IROC for his 18th bday. When the gift was presented to him outside we were all salivating over it lol. I was too young to drive but I thought it was the coolest. He let his cousin borrow it a couple months later and his cousin totaled it.

Always loved the 70's Nova...when I was at the "Oldies But Goodies Drags" at the Woodburn drag strip this past weekend a friend or a friend had his 72 Butternut Yellow Nova out....broke the throttle cable at the pedal and couldn't get it fixed...he just put the car together and it's got the newest Chevy crate motor...ZZ572/720R monster under the hood. Although it would have been a shakedown run we were expecting low 10's or high 9's...next time I'll get some pictures.

TGR's Garage...

I'll try to get a more recent photo of his. The car sat for a year or two before he bought it. We've been getting everything back in order. It has a supercharged built E85 SBC, with a 4 speed man trans. Tubbed, caged, weight reduction, etc. street legal race car.

Dash is finished! Took awhile to wire everything up but another thing done. Things I don't have photos of YET. Seats are recovered (black) and refinished the steering column. Should be going there to work on her tomorrow so photos will be up then.

Nice looking truck, even the slanted front tag, adds character.

You are making great progress on the Challenger!
